[Pocatello] Radon and the Real Estate Professional (E1672)• 2 Credits

September 26 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm MDT

Radon is a colorless, odorless, radioactive gas that forms naturally from the decay of uranium in soil, rock, and water. It can seep into homes through cracks in foundations or walls, potentially accumulating to dangerous levels. Prolonged exposure to high levels of radon is a leading cause of lung cancer, second only to smoking.

This 2 CE credit hour course provides real estate professionals with knowledge and strategies to properly address radon concerns in a manner that does not jeopardize the transaction while improving the living environment for Idahoans. Topics include Radon testing, what test results mean, how Radon concerns are resolved, disclosure, strategies for handling high results, how not to break a deal, and much more.
