[Nampa] What the Real Estate Industry Needs to Know about Radon (E1423)• 2 Credits
November 12 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm MST
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas that is produced from the decay of uranium in soil, rock, and water. It is colorless, odorless, and tasteless, making it undetectable without special equipment. Radon can accumulate in homes, particularly in basements or lower levels, and becomes a health concern when it reaches high concentrations indoors.
In the course, Radon health risks are explained. Common myths that may prevent agents from best serving the public are dispelled. Some physics, measurement protocols, and remediation techniques will be taught.
