Water is important to land use and valuation—land practitioners, brokers, land use planners, and land owners must consider water rights before any other factor, for all that lives must have water. This course covers the complexities of water rights in Idaho. Discussed are topics relating to Prior appropriation, Legal proceedings of the Snake River Basin adjudication, domestic and municipal rights, abandonment and forfeiture, geothermal rights, surface, ground and stock rights. This course is 4 CE credits for Idaho and Oregon license renewal.
