October 9 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am MDT
In real estate, vesting refers to the way in which a property is owned and titled. It determines the legal rights each owner has regarding the property, how the property will be transferred in case of sale, and what happens if an owner dies. Common types of vesting include sole ownership, joint tenancy, tenancy in common, and community property (in some states). Each type carries different legal implications for inheritance, taxes, and ownership rights, making it important for buyers to choose the vesting method that best suits their needs.
This course will review the “what-ifs” of the Schedule A by breaking down different types of vesting, and teaching REALTORS how to identify and solve vesting issues.
